Regio Arlberg Buslinien

The towns of Stanzer Valley - St. Anton am Arlberg, Pettneu, Flirsch and Strengen - merged in 2003 to form an association for organising and financing public transportation. In close cooperation with the Traffic Authority of Tirol and the ÖBB Postbus GmbH, we have optimized the bus system in Stanzer Valley and all around the town of St. Anton am Arlberg. There are 27 buses transporting 3 million passengers annually. The ÖBB Postbus GmbH operates the bus lines, the ski buses and the Nightliner in wintertime, as well as local bus "Antoon" and hiking bus in Verwall Valley in summertime, thereby providing guests and locals alike with comprehensive all-round services. Through deploying of Regio Arlberg buses, car traffic in Stanzer Valley is starkly reduced, which heightens the fresh-air and low-noise levels. This provides a measurable contribution to protecting the environment and the climate.

Bicycles (excluding E-bikes) are taken into the buses when space permits, in the judgment of the driver.
